Practice 2 wraps up fast opening day at Hidden Valley Raceway

Monochrome GT4 Australia wrapped up Friday at Hidden Valley Raceway with a busy second practice session, as teams continued to find their speed ahead of Saturday's qualifying and opening race of the LIQUI MOLY GT Festival Darwin.

Silver

Miedecke Motorsport by Lubrimaxx's Blake Tracey topped the Silver class after producing a blistering 1:10.7071 aboard the Ford Mustang GT4, making the most of the improved track conditions to finish fastest in class.

Team Soutar Motorsport's Will Exton and Jackson Johnson continued their strong form behind the wheel of the #114 McLaren Artura GT4, ending the session second with a 1:10.809 to sit just over a tenth of a second behind Tracey's benchmark.

Blake Purdie and Jobe Stewart rounded out the Silver class top three after recording a best lap of 1:10.8877 in the #48 Purdie Racing/Team BRM Audi R8 LMS GT4.

The Silver category once again proved fiercely competitive, with less than two tenths of a second separating the leading trio by the end of the session.
