For the first time this year, Audi joins the field, with Steve Jukes entering his Verve Motorsport R8 GT4 LMS into the 16 car mix.

Also getting their first opportunities in the class include Bathurst 1000 winner Paul Morris, who teams up with his son Nash in a McLaren, while Cody Burcher will make his GT4 debut, driving alongside Tim Leahey in the BMW M4 GT4 G82.

Representing the town of Orange, NSW, Burcher and Leahey will form a strong Silver class combination.

Ginetta will be represented with a brand-new G56 GT4, too. Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge leader Oscar Targett will be joined by Jesse Bryan in a new Silver Cup entry.

In other driver changes, Queensland Raceway winner Tom McLennan makes the switch from Method Motorsport to TekworkX Motorsport, partnering Zoe Woods in her Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS to bolster a strong Silver Cup field.

Love Racing by Volante Rosso Motorsport will enter Silver Cup for the first time. Sam Brabham, whose father David will compete in Fanatec GT Australia at the GT Festival, will target outright honours, partnered by Antonio Astuti in the squad’s lead Mercedes-AMG GT4.

Leading the way in the Silver Cup with an eight-point buffer is George Miedecke and Rylan Gray, who return to the venue where they secured Ford Mustang GT4’s first two global victories, while Method Motorsport duo Marcos Flack and Tom Hayman will be looking to close the gap on the leaders by adding to a number of podiums and victory.

Completing the Silver Cup field is Jake Camilleri in the Gomersall Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT4.

With McLennan moving to TekworkX Motorsport, the second Method Motorsport McLaren Artura GT4 will have a brand new line-up for the round, only this time it will enter the event in the Pro-Am class. Production car racer Anthony Levitt will share driving duties.

This adds to a high quality Pro-Am field as Ryder Quinn displayed his raw pace at Queensland Raceway in the Black Diamond Building and Construction BMW M4 GT4 G82 with Steve Jakic, after the duo took a victory in the last round.

In the Am Cup, Randall Racing’s duo of BMW M4 GT4 G82s held a thrilling battle for Am Cup honours at the conclusion of the three hour event at Queensland Raceway, with this battle to be renewed at Phillip Island.

Father-son combo Rob and Bailey Love will team for the first time to contest Am Cup in the second Love Racing by Volante Rosso Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT4

Mark Griffith returns to the Am Cup for the GT Festival in his Team Nineteen Mercedes-AMG GT4 to complete the entry.

The GT Festival takes place at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit on August 23-25 and has free entry for spectators all weekend.

Those who can't make it to Phillip Island can tune into the action via the live broadcast on Kayo/Foxtel, as well as the GT World YouTube Channel.
