Marcus LaDelle and Jarrod Keyte to make Monochrome GT4 Australia debut at Sydney Motorsport Park

Monochrome GT4 Australia will welcome another new pairing to the series at Sydney Motorsport Park, with circuit rookie Jarrod Keyte to link up with Marcus LaDelle for the rest of the 2025 season.

Behind the wheel of a Ford Mustang GT4 and run by LaDelle’s 99motorsport, the pair will join the category's ever-growing Am class with the hopes of securing some silverware throughout the remaining five rounds.

Having purchased the car through Andrew Miedecke with the assistance of Jason Gomersal, Keyte is fairly new to the world of circuit racing, having spent the majority of his motorsport career in rally and off road.

Most of Keyte’s rally experience comes in the Victorian Rally Championship, where he was running a Hyundai Excel, while also having a successful stint in the Motorsport Australia SXS Championship.

Having decided to make the switch from gravel and dirt to tarmac for the 2024 season, Keyte’s first real experience in circuit racing came last year when he debuted in the Toyota 86 Scholarship Series under the watchful eye of LaDelle.

A small campaign of three meetings last year in the developmental series before two rounds this year helped the Tasmanian gain valuable experience behind the wheel, setting him up for a smooth transition into GT4 racing.

As for LaDelle, the New South Welshman had a wealth of racing experience during his younger years, with stints in the Super2 Series, Formula 3 and the RX8 Series, before most recently appearing briefly in TCR Australia.

The pair will make their Monochrome GT4 Australia debut at GT Festival Sydney at Sydney Motorsport Park on 2–4 May.

"Jarrod came to me last year wanting to get into circuit racing, so we started him in the Scholarship Series where he ran consistently inside the top 20, which was fantastic for someone with little circuit experience,” LaDelle said.

“Although the series was great for his development, he was ready to take it seriously and it was clear that he wanted to be in a car with someone who knew what they were doing and in a GT car.

“There were a few options, with one of them being a Porsche, but his heart was set on a Mustang. Thankfully we had help from Jason Gomersal and Andrew Miedecke to secure the Ford Mustang GT4.

“After coaching him since making his transition, we’ve built a solid program that I can contribute to both on and off track and I am pleased to be able to compete alongside him.

“GT4 has always been a long-term goal for me – especially after Karl Begg first brought the category here, and I saw its potential. In Europe, GT4 is huge, and it’s exciting to finally race something competitive. I’m looking forward to being back in a proper car and seeing what we can do.

“Honestly, Jarrod’s just excited to be in something he can enjoy, and our goal is to finish races and be fast enough hopefully fight for a trophy. We’re both competitive, so progress is a given.

“For 99motorsport, this is the step I wanted to take for a while, so I am thrilled to have a second shot at growing the team into a new category with the hopes of running multiple cars in the future."
