Monochrome GT4 Australia series finale to go down to wire in Sandown special

Monochrome GT4 Australia will head to Sandown International Motor Raceway for the final round of the 2026 season this weekend, with all three class titles to be decided in two highly anticipated races.

Headlining the final Shannons SpeedSeries event for the year, a 30-car field representing seven manufacturers will take to the grid for the round, with Silver, Silver-Am and Am Cup honours all still to be settled as drivers prepare for one last opportunity to secure championship glory.

With the titles on the line, the championship battles are set to deliver plenty of intrigue, with Tom Hayman and Jett Murray looking to secure the Silver Cup, Zac Soutar and Glenn Nirwan leading a tightly contested Silver-Am Cup, and Glenn Walker heading the Am Cup standings ahead of the final two races.

Representing Audi, BMW, Ford, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche and Toyota, the field will once again battle for outright class honours and valuable Global Manufacturer Ranking points, with Sandown set to provide the final opportunity for manufacturers and teams to finish the season on a high.

AUDI
Audi will once again be represented by Purdie Racing / Team BRM, with Blake Purdie and Jobe Stewart continuing their Silver Cup campaign aboard the #48 Audi R8 LMS GT4.

The pair sit second in the Silver Cup standings on 112 points, an impressive effort considering they missed a round, with the championship leaders holding a 42-point advantage heading into the final round. In order to win the title, Purdie and Stewart will need a lot to go their way. However, finishing their season strongly and producing strong results will be at the top of their list.
