A thrilling newcomer to the world of motorsport, Method Motorsport, has officially arrived on the scene with a focus on the 2024 Repco Bathurst 12 Hour alongside full-season Monochrome GT4 Australia campaign.
As a result, the iconic race at the legendary Mount Panorama Circuit in February 2024 will take on a new perspective for Supercars star,Method Motorsport Team Co-Owner and Driver Coach, Chaz Mostert.
A two-time Bathurst 1000 winner with multiple global GT victories to his name, Mostert has joined forces with his long-term manager, Guy McEntyre, and associate Gareth Whiteley, in alignment with the prestigious McLaren brand.
Together, they have launched a new GT4 racing team, Method Motorsport, ready to take on the legendary race around the clock in 2024 with two new McLaren Artura GT4s.
Today’s announcement follows solid negotiations with manufacturer McLaren to secure competitive race cars designed specifically for the GT4 category.
Mostert said he was thrilled to be able to officially unveil the plans for this new race team.
“To say I am just excited would be an understatement, it is amazing to finally have the news come out,” Mostert said.
“Teaming up with Guy and Gareth gives us expertise in so many elements of the race team to not only reach our goals but also help make our customers dreams and goals come true.

Team Co-Owner and Team Principal, Guy McEntyre, said Method Motorsport is excited to bring a focused team and a competitive race car to the Bathurst 12 hour for 2024.
“I am proud to take on the role of Team Principal and co-owner of Method Motorsport having worked with Chaz for over a decade,” McEntyre said.
“I see the category as an exciting new space for racing within Australia both for the development of young drivers and a structured platform for existing experienced drivers.
“The Bathurst 12 hour race has now become iconic within motor racing in Australia, and I am excited to be able to be part of a team which can give drivers the opportunity to drive a new car specifically designed for GT4 competition.
“The category is such that speed comes from the driver and from this perspective, having Chaz Mostert as a driver coach will be an invaluable asset for our drivers. “Gareth Whiteley, the other co-owner, comes with a strong background of marketing and management and together I am confident our team will provide some tough competition in the GT4 space.
Whiteley echoed Mostert and McEntyre’s statements.
