Cam McLeod and Mason Harvey to join for 2026 Monochrome GT4 Australia season

Multispares Racing has confirmed a second entry for the 2026 Monochrome GT4 Australia season, with Super2 young gun Cameron McLeod and WA rising star Mason Harvey to team up for their debut seasons.

Behind the wheel of the growing team’s second Ford Mustang GT4, the pair bring an impressive mix of experience from a range of national categories, including the Supercars pathway.

McLeod enters the program off the back of a rapid rise through the ranks, following a successful karting career. His car racing graduation came in 2021, where he ran in Formula Ford at both state and national level before impressing internationally in the British F4 Championship with a podium and two pole positions.

Despite returning home in 2022 and securing a Class A2 podium in the Bathurst 6 Hour and a silver overall in the Formula Ford Australia Championship, it was his standout 2023 Super3 Series campaign that proved a breakthrough, as he dominated the field with eight race wins to ultimately claim the prestigious Mike Kable Young Gun Award.

Since stepping up to the Super2 Series in 2024, McLeod has continued to impress with race wins, pole positions and multiple podium finishes to his name, including a memorable victory at Sydney Motorsport Park.

McLeod has twice featured in the Supercars Endurance Cup, with his best result being fifth last year at the Bathurst 1000 alongside Cam Hill.

Outside of Supercars, he has gained valuable experience in GT and endurance racing, both nationally and internationally, with his biggest highlights being a runner-up class finish in the 2023 24H Dubai GT4 class and two wins in the Mustang Challenge Le Mans Invitational Dark Horse class last year.

McLeod’s teammate Harvey joins him with a proven record of success across both state and national competition.

At state level, the West Australian hit the ground running after graduating to cars, claiming back-to-back WA Saloon Car Championship titles in 2022 and 2023 after consistently finishing on the podium and securing multiple race wins across both seasons to establish himself as a dominant force in the category.

That form translated to the national stage, where Harvey secured consecutive Saloon Car Nationals victories in 2024 and 2025, further cementing his reputation as one of the leading competitors in the class.

In addition to his saloon car success, following a solid debut season in the 2023 TGRA Scholarship Series, Harvey stepped into the competitive Aussie Racing Cars Super Series in 2024 and picked up two podiums in his first year.

He stepped it up a notch in the series last year with three race wins and a further five podiums, securing a round victory in the process, while also have having a hugely successful singular appearance in the Radical Cup Australia, which saw him get the round win on debut with two race wins.

McLeod and Harvey make their Monochrome GT4 Australia debuts at the LIQUI MOLY GT Festival Phillip Island on 27-29 March.

“I’m excited to be back in GT4 in Australia and to represent Ford and Brett Peters in such a strong package. It’s a great category and a really well-run series, so I’m looking forward to getting the season underway,”

“Mason and I are heading into the year with high expectations – we’re aiming to win and be right in the championship fight from the outset.

“To be competitive, I knew we needed not just a Silver driver, but a fast and level-headed one, and Mason ticks those boxes. He’s proven himself in Aussie Racing Cars and Radicals, and was quick in testing, so I’m confident we’ll work well together.”

“The Silver Cup field is incredibly competitive this year, with some top-tier drivers joining the category. It’s going to be tough, but that’s what makes it exciting and we’re looking forward to the challenge.”

“I can’t wait to get underway at Phillip Island and I’m really looking forward to the year ahead with Cam. We’ll be pushing each other all season, and although I’ve only done limited laps so far, I’m confident we’ll be in a strong position by the time we get to qualifying,” Harvey said.

“The goal for the year is to be consistent all year round, pick up some wins and stay in the championship fight. If we can keep things clean and minimise the bad weekends, I think this is achievable as we have a strong team around us.”

“I am really looking forward to a great year with Cam, learning more about our Mustang and pushing each other further every round. Cam has some experience with these cars so will be great to learn off him and the team around me.

“Theres a lot of new fast guys joining this year and the ones who are returning with experience from pervious years so its going to be tough. There will be battles throughout the whole field , will be great to watch.”
