Norganic Proteins will have a change of personnel for this month’s LIQUI MOLY GT Festival Queensland with Excel veteran Scott Green to replace Kent Quinn for the third round of the Monochrome GT4 Australia season.
In replacing Quinn, who will be attending the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix, Green will join rising star Caleb Paterson behind the wheel of the team’s Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS with the entry to remain in the competitive Silver-Am class.
While this month’s appearance will be Green’s maiden drive in Monochrome GT4 Australia, he brings a wealth of experience and success to the team both as a driver and a mechanic.
From a driver point of view, Green has more than a decade of regular racing experience - mostly behind the wheel of a Hyundai Excel or as a Production Car competitor.
His most success has come in the Excels where he is a proven race winner and podium getter, having picked up more than 30 podiums throughout his career across a range of categories.
The Queenslander’s most prolific spell came between 2018 and 2019 where he enjoyed 22 podiums in his respective Excel Cup - highlighted by six victories and a further nine top three finishes in 2019 that earned him the outright title.
During the same year, Green enjoyed a maiden class podium in the popular Bathurst 6 Hour in a Hyundai i30 N alongside teammates Kaden Olsen and Frank Mammarella - further showcasing his talent behind the wheel.
Outside of that hugely successful period, Green has been a front-runner in many of the state and national series he has contested in, making him a worthy replacement for Quinn alongside Paterson.
In addition to his driving capabilities, Green is also highly respected when it comes to working on the tools having been the number one mechanic of the 2025 Silver-Am Cup-winning Ford Mustang GT4 of Jason Gomersall and Aaron Seton.
Green will make his Monochrome GT4 Australia debut with Caleb Paterson at this month’s LIQUI MOLY GT Festival Queensland, which serves as the third event of the 2026 Shannons SpeedSeries season.
The event takes place at Queensland Raceway on 12-14 June, with tickets available to purchase via www.speedseries.com.au/tickets.

“I’m really excited to be joining Monochrome GT4 Australia for this round as it’s a great opportunity and one I’m very grateful for,” Green said.
“I’ve worked closely with Caleb throughout his racing journey and it’s been fantastic watching his progression, so when the chance came up to fill in for Kent, I was more than happy to help the team as Caleb is a very talented young driver and every time he gets in the car he seems to find more speed.
“My role for the weekend is pretty straightforward – help Caleb score as many points as possible and maximise the result for the team. It’s a one-off opportunity for me, so the focus is on doing a solid job, keeping the car on track and being there at the finish.
“Monochrome GT4 Australia has grown tremendously over the past couple of seasons. There’s a lot of young talent coming through the ranks and the category continues to go from strength to strength, so it’s great to be part of it.”

“Scott and I have done a lot together over the years. He played a big role in helping me get started in racing, so it’s great to be able to give back and have him join me for this round. We know what he’s capable of and I’m confident he’ll do a great job,” Paterson said.
“Everyone already knows Scott’s talent, both as a mechanic and as a driver. His experience and understanding of the car will be a real asset, and having another driver who can provide detailed feedback will be valuable for the whole team.
“It’s also a bonus that this is Scott’s home track. While he hasn’t had a lot of seat time in the car recently, his racing record speaks for itself and there’s no doubt he’ll be able to step up and perform.
“I’m really grateful that Kent has given us the opportunity to continue in the series, even though he can’t be here this weekend. It means we can keep building momentum and make the most of the season. Hopefully we can put together a strong result and give him something to celebrate from afar.”
