TekworkX Motorsport heads to Shell V-Power Motorsport Park this weekend for the second round of the season in Monochrome GT4 Australia.
Zoe Woods in her Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 MR CS is contesting Silver Class of Monochrome GT4 Australia as a solo driver and transitioned to the competition strongly at Phillip Island with results of seventh and ninth in the weekend’s two races.
“The opening round really exceeded my expectations, it was my first round in the GT4, and I think overall I did well and I was really happy with my qualifying positions,” said Woods.
“Definitely learnt when to hold my ground within the category and racing, this is something I’ve had to learn and coach myself through and I felt like I really got involved in the second race at Phillip Island.
“I’m taking all the positives from that weekend into The Bend. It’s a shorter layout than usual, but I really love the track. Not many people would’ve done the West Circuit so we’ll all be in the same boat. It’ll make for some great racing and the extra practice on Thursday will be really helpful.”
Round 2 for Monochrome GT4 Australia takes place from May 31-June 2 at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park as part of the Shannons SpeedSeries. Coverage is via 7plus from 10:00am to 4:30pm local time on Saturday and Sunday.
