SRO Motorsports Australia is pleased to announce it has appointed Adrian Coppin as its Head of Events & Commercial Operations for the 2025 season.
With extensive experience in managing motorsport events, Coppin enters the role having been the driving force in growing the Shannons SpeedSeries and Bosch Motorsport Australia Rally Championship (ARC), while also holding various high-profile positions in the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix sporting team, including Secretary of Event.
The appointment comes shortly after the recent announcement of SRO taking a lead role as promoter for a new premier national circuit racing series in 2025.
Coppin will be responsible for the execution of SRO's five Australian events next year, which will host the first five rounds of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS and the Monochrome GT4 Australia Series before both categories wrap up their seasons in New Zealand.
Coppin has officially begun his tenure as SRO Motorsports Australia’s Head of Events & Commercial Operations, with the first event of the new series being at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in April, 2025.
