South Australian Jack Wallis has announced he will return to Monochrome GT4 Australia for the 2026 season, albeit with a brand new teammate in American Ford Racing driver Sam Paley.
The new teammates will be behind the wheel of the Wallis Motorsport Ford Mustang GT4 and will be entered in the series’ Silver Cup, with US-based Paley lining up as Wallis’ fourth teammate since joining the series.
This year will be Wallis’ second season in Monochrome GT4 Australia after a mixed maiden season saw him race alongside his uncle Jed in the season opener, his father Adam in the second round in Queensland and another American Ford Racing driver, Jenson Altzman, in South Australia.
In the three rounds the team attended for the year, Jack’s best result were two eighth-place finishes – one with Adam at GT Festival Queensland in the Silver-Am Class and the other with Altzman in the Silver Class at GT Festival The Bend.
Despite having a challenging learning year and no shortage of misfortune in the three rounds he attended in 2025, Jack showed plenty of pace during his debut season following a successful 18-month stint in South Australia’s competitive Hyundai Excel Series.
Jack will undoubtedly benefit from having Paley alongside him, with the Kentucky-born driver boasting an impressive résumé having built a successful career across some of North America’s most competitive development categories.
The 23-year-old’s first major accolade in racing came in 2021 when he claimed the IMSA Mazda MX-5 Cup Rookie of the Year title, while achieving nine podium finishes during a three-year stint.
Following on from that, he went on to compete in highly esteemed categories such as IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, IMSA Mustang Challenge, Mustang Challenge Le Mans Invitational, with his breakout year behind the wheel coming in the Mustang Challenge where he picked up two wins and three podiums.
Paley is also a graduate of the famous Skip Barber Racing School and currently serves as a driver coach as part of his successful Paley Motorsport brand.
The pair will mark their first race together at the Monochrome GT4 Australia season-opening GT Festival Phillip Island at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit on 27-29 March.
